Chapter I · Why "Dragon"?
A Welsh dragon in a Florida attic.
Our founder learned the trade in South Wales, where the red dragon has stood for pride in your work for about a thousand years longer than Florida has had plumbing. Over there, a tradesman's name follows him from village to village. You did the job right because everyone would know if you didn't.
He brought that standard to Apopka in 2001: show up when you said you would, quote it before you touch it, and stand behind the work after you're paid.
"Two decades later, the trucks are newer. The standard isn't."
No call centers. No franchises. Just a family company where the owner still knows what's on every truck, and the phone gets answered by someone whose last name is on the invoice.
