The part everyone worries about

How an insurance claim actually works.

Most homeowners have never filed a roof claim. Here is the whole process, so you know exactly what happens and when.

We inspect free

A 21-point inspection with photos of every issue. If the damage doesn't justify a claim, we tell you that too.

We document

Date-stamped photos, measurements, and a written scope your insurance company takes seriously.

We meet the adjuster

We are on your roof when the adjuster is, walking them through every finding so nothing gets missed or lowballed.

You get a new roof

Claim approved, we build. In most approved claims your out-of-pocket cost is just your deductible.

Plain answer to the big question: if wind, hail, or a storm damaged your roof, homeowners insurance usually covers replacement, and your cost is typically your deductible. The inspection that finds out is free.

★★★★★

"Tarped our roof the same night the storm hit, then walked the adjuster through everything. New roof, and our out-of-pocket was just the deductible."

★★★★★

"Two other companies said full replacement. Summit fixed it for a fraction of that and showed me photos of exactly why. That honesty bought them a customer for life."

DERRICK H. · COLLEGE PARK

"Crew showed up at 7am, done by 4pm the next day, and the yard was cleaner than they found it. Magnet-swept for nails twice."

Before you ask

Storm season questions, answered.

Will my insurance cover the roof?
If the damage came from wind, hail, or a storm, usually yes: homeowners policies cover sudden storm damage, and your cost is typically just your deductible. Age and wear alone are not covered, which is exactly what our free inspection determines. We document everything and meet your adjuster so the claim is judged on evidence, not a drive-by glance.
What does a new roof cost?
Most Orlando shingle replacements land between $12,000 and $25,000 depending on size, pitch, and material; metal and tile run higher. Insurance covers most of it on approved storm claims. Paying out of pocket? Financing starts at $189 a month with $0 down for qualified homeowners. Either way the quote is written, itemized, and free.
How long does a replacement take?
The build itself: 1 to 3 days for most homes. Tear-off and dry-in happen day one, so your home is never exposed overnight. Permits and material delivery add about a week of lead time before we start, and we handle all of it.
My roof is leaking right now. What do I do?
Call the emergency line: (407) 555-0142, any hour. We tarp the same day to stop the water, photograph the damage for your claim, and schedule the permanent fix. Move what you can out from under the leak and put a bucket down; skip the ladder, that's our job.
How do I know you won't oversell me?
Ask our reviews. Roughly a third of our inspections end with "it's a repair, not a replacement," documented with photos of why. A 13-year local reputation is worth more to us than any single roof, and it shows in how we quote.
Do you handle the permits and cleanup?
All of it. Permits, inspections, dumpster, haul-away, and a double magnet-sweep of your yard for nails. You make one phone call and sign one contract; the rest is our job.
