Northlight Results

Results,
in one light.

Three pairs, honestly captioned, and a plain list of the four treatments there is no honest pair for yet. Nothing on this page has been retouched, relit or reshot until it looked better.

The photo protocol

Nothing moves between the two frames except the person.

Every photo on this page was taken in the same north window, at the same distance, with the same lens, no filter and no makeup. Results differ from person to person. These are the people who agreed to be shown, not the best results we have ever had.

A north facing window never receives direct sun, so the light in these frames does not change with the hour, the season or the mood of whoever is holding the camera. That is the only reason the two halves of a pair can be compared at all.

The north room at Northlight, empty: a tall sash window with frosted glass, plain grey plaster walls and a single wooden stool on the floor.
The room every photograph on this page was taken in. The stool marks the distance. The window faces north and has never been changed.
Three pairs

Tap a frame to move between before and after.

There is no drag handle here on purpose. A slider makes the difference into a performance, and the argument this practice is making is the opposite one: that almost nothing changed except the thing that was treated.

A woman photographed straight on in the north window, hair tied back and no makeup, with vertical lines visible between her brows at rest. The same woman in the same window, same distance and same position, fourteen days after treatment. Before
BeforeAfter
Botox · 24 units · 1 session · 14 days elapsed Forehead and glabella. Twenty four units placed in one appointment, photographed at her two week follow up. She is not smiling in either frame.
A woman photographed straight on in the north window with a neutral expression and no makeup, before lip filler. The same woman in the same window and the same neutral expression, two weeks after one syringe of filler. Before
BeforeAfter
Lip filler · 1 syringe · 1 session · 14 days elapsed One syringe of hyaluronic acid, placed in a single appointment and photographed once the swelling had fully settled. No lip liner in either frame.
A woman photographed straight on in the north window with bare skin and no makeup, before any skin treatment. The same woman in the same window and the same flat light, four months and three sessions later. Before
BeforeAfter
IPL and two light peels · 3 sessions · 4 months elapsed One IPL photofacial and two light peels across four months. Pigment and surface texture. No base makeup in either frame.
What is not here

Four treatments with no pair, and why.

Borrowing a photograph from a different treatment to fill a gap is the cheapest lie available to a page like this, and one wrong caption would make every other pair worthless. So the gaps are listed instead.

Cheek and jawline
Structural work reads in three quarter view and the protocol here is a straight on frame. A second angle is being added to the same standard, and the pairs will appear when it exists.
Sculptra
A fair pair needs twelve months between frames. The two patients who agreed are at month seven.
RF microneedling
Texture needs a raking side light to show properly, and a raking light is exactly the trick this protocol refuses to use on a face.
Laser hair removal
A hair result is a close crop of an underarm or a shin. It cannot be shot under a portrait protocol, so it is not published here at all.

Every image on this page is one person’s outcome and not a prediction of yours. Nothing here is guaranteed, nothing has been selected as a best case, and the same protocol will be used on your photographs if you decide to be photographed at all. You do not have to be.

The next step

A consultation is a conversation, not a sales appointment.

Thirty minutes with Camille in the north room. She looks at your face in daylight, tells you what she would do, tells you what she would leave alone, and writes down what it costs before you decide anything.
